What to Expect:
🌿 The GREENCODE Project integrates STEM/STEAM education into Early Childhood Education, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and green practices. The project focuses on three main priorities:
(1) Equipping early childhood teacher education organisations with effective STEM/STEAM teaching strategies.
(2) Connecting these strategies to environmental protection and green practices.
(3) Utilizing educational robotics to create enjoyable, accessible, and engaging learning experiences.
📘 Discover the updated Aistear: The Early Childhood Curriculum Framework with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA). This presentation will explore the key messages that guided the update of Aistear, including a renewed emphasis on the rights of babies, toddlers, and young children; diversity, equity, and inclusion; relationships and interactions; play; assessment and planning; and transitions.
