The Lifestart Growing Child programme is an evidence-based child development programme for parents of children aged from birth up to three years of age (or five years old if a family needs extra supports). The programme was initially piloted for one year throughout County Monaghan in 2019 and delivered by the National Childhood Network (NCN) with funding from the Department of Children & Youth Affairs Quality and Capacity Building Initiative (QCBI).
We are delighted from January 2025 with funding from the Children’s Fund under the National Home Visiting Programme we are able to expand delivery of The Growing Child into Co Cavan.
