ASPIRE | Pre-School Application Workshop
We are seeking applications for the first year of the new Shared Education initiative – ASPIRE.
The ASPIRE Project is a shared education initiative, funded through PEACEPLUS, and aimed at providing direct and sustained contact between children from all backgrounds across the six border counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This multi-year, cross border partnership is led by Northern Ireland Education Authority alongside Early Years, the National Childhood Network, Léargas and Fermanagh Trust.
This Online workshop (via Teams) will help prepare pre-school settings for the application process and ASPIRE Project principles. This project continues until December 2028 and follows on from the Sharing from the Start initiative.
This session will introduce settings to the new project and will be an opportunity to discuss ideas and best practice in relation to Shared Education/Inclusion.
The Education Authority and Léargas are also running ASPIRE workshops, but the session below is aimed solely at Pre-School applicants and settings.
