Paulette Daly, a recently retired senior citizen from Dungannon, Co Tyrone, knitted a range of Trauma Bears and Izzy dolls to support children experiencing trauma as a result of an accident, a fire, or a bereavement.
Paulette passed the bears and dolls onto the National Childhood Network. Through our cross border PEACEPLUS ASPIRE project, two preschools in Armagh and Monaghan presented the bears and dolls to Crossmaglen Emergency Services. Little Explorers, from Culloville made the presentation on behalf of both settings.
